Five Fruit Beers to Try This Summer!

It’s summer in Northern California and that can only mean one thing –it’s HOT! Besides air conditioning or a dip in the pool, there’s only one other thing that can help…  a nice, cold beer.  Speaking of hot, one of the latest trends in craft beer is fruit additions. These aren’t your standard sugary orange wheat beers either, they are full bodied, unique and have great flavors. Here are five fruit beers we have in stock this summer that your customers will be sure to love:

Blood Orange Lorenzini — Maui Brewing Co.

This double IPA features blood oranges but also a blend of Sorachi, El Dorado and Azacca hops which evoke flavors only reminiscent to the tropics and citrus. This deceptive double will come down so smooth with every sip. A must have for hop lovers this summer.

Break Apart Cream Ale– High Water Brewing

This latest canned release from Steve pours a cloudy orange color and is heavily inspired by the break apart chocolate oranges. Strong notes of citrus and cacao nibs are tasted in every sip. This is surprisingly refreshing and perfect to end a long day of barbecuing or laying out by the pool.

Fruitlands Gose–Modern Times Brewing

This passion fruit and guava gose is stocked full of flavor. The tropical flavors are predominant with just the right level of sourness at the finish. It makes this beer incredibly easy to drink and is a great introduction to the sour beer world. You’ll be whisked away to some funky island vibes with this ale.

Super Tramp Strawberry Wheat Wine — Dust Bowl Brewing Co

What is a wheat wine? It is essentially a wheat beer with a significantly higher alcohol content. However, this one does not drink like it at all. There is a lot of strawberry jam in the nose and in the taste. This is perfect for a picnic, and a great gift for a new or veteran beer drinker.

Lil Brainless on Raspberries Ale — Epic Brewing Co

This raspberry ale hits both the sweet and tart notes of biting into a raspberry. This canned beer is refreshing and quenches the thirst. Perfect for those that like sours or those who just want something sweet!

Honorable Mention:

We can’t forget to mention our cider brand, 2 Towns Cider and their new summer release Cot in the Act, an apricot cider. Their ciders are never overly sweet and this one nails the apricot flavors right on the head. Also available in kegs, bottles and cans. Perfect in any environment and pairs great with a light summer salad.  Or by itself. 😉

We hope you’re inspired by this list and consider adding these beers into your place of business! Order yours today, cheers!
