Beer Bread (Or Muffins!)

You’ll need

Butter for greasing pan and/or brushing on top after baking cups of self-rising flour

1/2- 3/4 cups of granulated sugar

18oz of Pizza Port Chronic Amber Ale ( 1 1/2 cans)

Preheat the regular oven to 350*, or 325* if its a convention.

Mix all the ingredients in a medium bowl until the dough is very wet. This may require adding more or less flour or beer. Use your own judgment.  You can also add any additional ingredients such as cheese, herbs, jalapenos, melted butter, etc.  Before pouring into a vessel, make sure to grease the pan with real butter.

For a loaf pan, bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the bread runs dry using a toothpick.

For muffins, bake for 12-15 minutes.

For a small baking sheet, 30 minutes.

If doubling the recipe and prepared like cornbread on a large baking sheet, 25 minutes.

Serve warm with butter or some honey. You and your company will be sure to love it!
