Many of our customers may not know we carry mead, let alone what mead actually is. Mead is a honey-wine which ferments using primarily honey, and water. Since the mead is carbonated, it is incredibly effervescent, and tastes slightly similar to champagne. We are proud to carry a mead brand from Corvallis, Oregon- Nectar Creek. Their catalog of meads expand from session (low ABVs) to barrel-aged varieties using local quality ingredients from the region. We just got a recent delivery from this fantastic meadery, such as Brood, a session wine with raspberries. If you’re a fan of sours, we highly recommend the Triple Brett, a sour honey-wine fermented in barrels with Brettanomyces.
